What geographic area does your moving service cover?
We offer personal and professional moving services for residential and small- to medium-sized office moves throughout the central and eastern United States.

How far in advance do I need to reserve moving services?
In order to ensure your moving date is available, it is best to contact us as far in advance as possible. Depending on the season and our availability, we can schedule your move in as little as 48 hours, however the typical timeframe is up to 4 weeks in advance.

How is my price determined?
Your pricing is strictly based on an hourly rate.  We do not base our price on home size, number of boxes or square footage, and we never charge extra for packing or fuel surcharges. 

Do you offer packing services? 
Yes!  We offer professional packing services for your residential move.  We can carefully pack as little or as many of your belongings as you want.

Can I purchase packing materials (i.e. boxes, labels, etc.) to pack myself?
We offer a variety of packing materials that you are welcome to purchase prior to your move.  You can purchase them separately or we can add them to your final moving bill.  The supplies can be delivered or available for pick up at our office.  (Download Packing Materials Menu .pdf )

What is the best way to pack and move valuable items (i.e. jewelry, important documents, etc.)?
While we are committed to safely transporting all of your belongings, we recommend that you personally move items such as jewelry, sentimental items, and important legal documents such as insurance policies and marriage certificates to ensure they arrive at your final destination safely.

Do I need to label my boxes?
Labeling your boxes with the name of a room (i.e. “Kitchen,” “Master Bedroom,” “Great Room”) will ensure that we move your belongings to the correct location in your new home so that you have more time to focus on other tasks on moving day.

How will the large items be moved (i.e. dressers, file cabinets, etc.)?
Please do not remove drawers in dressers or file cabinets prior to the move.  Our moving staff will blanket and/or shrink wrap these items to ensure they remain safe and intact.

Are there any items you will not move?
We move virtually anything (including pianos!), however by law we are not authorized to move vehicles, firearms, gas grills, etc.  Please see our policy guidelines for more information.

Can I move some belongings to one location, and the remaining belongings to another?
Of course!  We perform multi-stop moves quite frequently.  In preparation for moving day, please be sure to clearly label the items going to each location so we are sure to deliver the items to the correct place.

What if an item is damaged during the move?
We pride ourselves in our ability to safely transport all of your items. Through proper packing and moving techniques, we can significantly reduce the chance of damage to your possessions.  If you do find that an item has been damaged as a result of the move, please contact us immediately and we can assist in determining an appropriate resolution.

Do you have any special offers?
We do feature special offers frequently throughout the year and will post them on our home page as they become available. 

What else should I know?
Don’t worry!  We are moving professionals and will take good care of you and your home.  This is an exciting time, and we want you to enjoy this new beginning in your new home.
